About Rion
How long have you been a wedding photographer and what inspired you to do it?
I love weddings, plain and simple.
Since the age of 16 I have been a part of many marriage celebrations, and have developed a very special passion for these magical days. I started off as a church organist when I was younger, following in my mom's footsteps. Later on, as my love and expertise as a photographer developed through the years, I realized that I could combine these two passions and create something very unique and special. The result was Rion Photography.
Today, I have more than 10 years of experience with both Western Weddings and a variety of international wedding celebrations as well.
We love your services and portfolio, but it seems there are so many photographers to choose from. How are you different?
I've been a wedding photographer for over 10 years, and it's the primary type of photography I do. Most studios "specialize" in many types of photography and services, but I believe that to truly specialize in something it needs to be where I focus ALL my passion.
Another problem brides are realizing is that its so easy these days for just about anyone to buy a website, put up some pictures, and open a photography studio. It's getting very difficult to sort through the choices and find the photographer who can bring experience and knowledge to your images.
Picking a photographer who has a lot of experience and the images to back it up is really important.
Can we just have the image files and nothing else? I have a coupon for a really cheap album somewhere else.
We take great care during the photography process, and after-wedding process, to produce and edit a set of images that are going to retell your story and make an amazing storybook album for you. All of your images will be shot with your album in mind, and if we simply throw all the images onto a DVD and hand it off to someone else, your images will never live up to their full potential and tell the story they were taken to tell.
When we recreate your story in your album, not only will your story come to life, but all of your images will be color corrected and perfected to look their best, and printed at a professional photography lab that we know and trust. When you receive your storybook album from Rion Photography, we know you'll agree that going with a professional for your wedding memories was the best choice!
Will be able to get a DVD for printing extra images later on?
Yes! While our Signature Wedding Coverage already includes a beautiful storybook album, we do offer a high resolution DVD of your images if you'd like to have it for printing some supplemental images later on. All of the images will be edited and color corrected to look their best before being burned to disk.
Your One Rate sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?
Our One Rate is really as cool as it sounds! You'll get our Signature Wedding Coverage, shot by Rion, for unlimited time on the day of your wedding. Afterwards, we'll custom design one of our premium storybook albums for you, which will retell the story of your special day and help you relive every moment for years to come.
There is no obligation for you to spend any more money at any time, unless you choose to.
Do you shoot a lot of weddings?
I will only accept as many weddings in a season as I can confidently handle, without sacrificing service to my clients. Many budget photographers take on 2 or 3 or even more weddings per week in order to pay their bills. I try to limit myself to 2-3 per MONTH so that I can leave plenty of time for editing all those shots to look their best, and to give my clients the service they deserve for trusting in me.
When do we have to pay?
The shooting fee (950USD) is due at the time of booking to hold your date, and guarantee full day coverage by Rion. The Album Deposit will be due one month before your wedding.
Extras such as a DVD of the high resolution images can be purchased and paid for anytime after your wedding.
